Community Gratitude Fund

In 2024 we’re expressing our gratitude for our community by providing 10 worthy folks with up to $2,500 in free tree care!

We're accepting nominations year-round in 2024 by sending an email to gratitude@thetreeist.com.

Who It's For:

- We’re looking for folks in the community who deserve recognition and are known for their kindness, dedication & ability to inspire.

- A nominee could be someone you see picking up litter, or a friend or neighbor doing something right.

- We’d also consider helping a well-known community area that could use some tree-love.

- We'll select recipients from nominees made by anyone in our Chapel Hill community - and places nearby - including Carrboro, Durham, Mebane & Hillsborough.

How It Works:

- Folks are chosen based on the few short paragraphs & information you email to gratitude@thetreeist.com.

- Drop us a note about some admirable person in the community to whom we might be of service.

- Recipients will be chosen and contacted throughout 2024 and the tree work will be scheduled & completed during Q4 of 2024.

- One recipient will be announced each quarter in 2024, via our Instagram page  & posted here at thetreeist.com/gratitude.
