Cabling & Bracing
When a tree is at risk of breaking, but you cherish the tree, a tree-support system may be the solution you need. A tree support system may even be a cost-saving alternative to a difficult tree removal. The Treeist offers both cabling and bracing.
Cabling: specialized cables and hardware are installed high in the canopy to mitigate the failures in the canopy and at the union of multiple trunks. We offer multiple types of cabling options, including steel and synthetic fibers.
Bracing: braces, made of steel rods, are installed through unions of vulnerable branches and stems to provide additional rigidity, reducing the risk of twisting and breakage in severe weather.
Let our consultants help you find the best solution for your trees. If you have an old cabling or bracing system in your tree, we would be happy to inspect it. Improperly installed hardware can harm a tree. We follow industry standards (ANSI A-300) for supplemental support systems.
